There were times when my parents would settle down soon, be on your own feet, get to be independant, etc. Basically they were always keen on seeing their children getting a good steady job and who would stick on to the same for a long time, or even upto retirement. But now times have changed, we find the attrition rates so high amongst youngsters and also among the seniors. Today there seems to little to care for loyalty or to stick on to the same job for a long time, the better the moolah or pay packet, you couldn't care less, and you are off to the next job. Times have changed to such an extent that people hardly work in the same organisation for more than 5 years. What is your experience and your own cases?

Wow...that sounds great, and you are in juggernaut speed of your life, having changed 3 jobs in 3 months. But do remember my friend, that the rolling stone gathers no mass. I agree in today's world of opportunities, with so many career openings you are tempted to shift jobs, but my word of caution also that you got to look into the pros and cons before you take the leap. All the very best for your future and God bless.

Good, well begun is half done. So nice to hear that you looking for a change of job, despite this being your first job. It shows how we look for a better opportunity as we begin our career itself. You haven't told me how long you have been in this job? Since it is your first job I presume that it is not more than 3 years - so all the best for your future and God bless.

So sorry to note that, never mind and not to worry, there is something exiting waiting for you round the corner, and do remember patience pays. All the very best from my side and God bless in whatever you are enduring to do. And remember the fruits of patience is always sweet, so go ahead and wait for the same.

Well done Bhavesh, you have kept the present rate of attrition, which averages around 2 to 3 years. Are you in the IT sector? In that case it is acceptable, because the opportunities are a lot and you should make hay while the sun shines, as this is your age, and there is a lot of shortage of staff in your line of activity. All the best for the future.

Hi it is nice to know that you haven't changed your job for the last 15 years, and with utmost loyalty to your family. It is great that we have opportunities these days to work from home, which give us the liberty as well as the freedom to choose our working hours and the free time we have to spare with our family. All the very best and God bless.

Hi Superman from Italy.....thanks for your response. How is it in Italy? Do you change jobs often? What do you look for when you want a change, is it more money, more security or more fringe benefits? In India, people do go for a change for any of these reasons, and the average change of job or attrition is one job every 3 years. So all the best for your future and God bless.

Hi I see you are in UK, and like the different jobs you have been through, it looks quite diversified. Now that you have had a kid, that must be your main job. And if your husband is earning enough, then the joy in bringing up a kid, watching it's activities itself is a whole time job. All the very best, and continue the good job, till your kid grows, you could then think of taking up a job outside.
