Those Fall Leaves

Well finely! I look out from my bedroom window and can see the leaves in the huge oak tree out back. For weeks now I have wondered when those lovely green leaves were going to begin to turn color. Finely they have. In the last week they have quickly begun to turn yellow and then brown.
Have you seen changes in your neck of the woods?

This is quite natural. Sometimes they take time to get a change in their color.

I love oak trees. When I was a kid, we had a few of them in our yard. I also loved all the acorns. I miss seeing them.

We live in an area of town that is full of trees and I sure love it. Up on the rim there aren't as many and it is actually about 10 degrees hotter up there in the summer.

Still lots of green here in St Catharines. The tree out back has been dropping leaves, but it's also been dropping small branches.

Fall changes do not happen in Southern California.
