K-Pop vs Southern Gospel

So my daughter likes this K-pop music. I like Christian contemporary, classical, and Christian Rock. Lyrics are really important to me. Normally, I do not let my daughter listen to secular music, but I let her listen to a few of these KPop numbers because you can't understand what they are saying anyway. The point of this is, my husband, tonight, wanted to prove to my daughter that his music was better. He listens to Southern Gospel. As much as I love Christian lyrics, I can not handle the sound of Southern Gospel. I would rather listen to the K-pop.
The sound of Southern Gospel just grinds my nerves.
How about anyone else? What kind of music annoys you to the max? By the way, I am the same way about country and bluegrass-can't handle it.

80's was interesting, that's for sure. I still like some of the 80s and 90s stuff. Petra came out in the 80's. I love them. I remember, though, I got caught listening to them in the Christian school I attended and got detention for a week because they were Christian rock. At that time we were in a church where the preacher pulled everything out of context to suit his own agenda. I still listened to it. LOL, the preachers son snuck me a small boom box into the library (where I was in detention) so I could keep listening to my music.

I don't like secular rap but I love Christian music of any kind-even the rap songs because they have a great message. I also like Country and some Rock. If I'm in the mood to dance I enjoy 90's music as well.

I like Southern Gospel, Bluegrass & Country. The one kind of music that really annoys me is Rap.
