When the subject is "fear of animals", spiders and snake are practically on the list of many people, worldwide speaking. By the way, fear in some people is almost traumatic (depending on the severity ).
Would you be one of them or don't these animals mean anything to you?

Yes I am afraid of snakes and spiders. Both are poisonous .I hate both these animals.Usually everyone hates them as they are poisonous.
Both animals don't mean anything to me. Both are ugly creatures...

I find both spiders and snakes fascinating. I love watching them move from one area to another. Spiders walking with their 8 legs manage to walk without getting them tangled or tripping themselves. Snakes move along on their bellies with no legs or feet at all, which to me is a truly amazing feat! When I find a spider in the house I collect it in a cup or other deep item and carefully carry it outside and release it. We had a snake in our kitchen once and we had a neighbor come and remove it. Neither my Mom or I could face capturing the snake and taking it outside and releasing it. The biggest problem was capturing the snake. The snake didn't take well to being captured either! When he was released he slithered off as fast as he could move.

Animals must be respected not to hate them or to be afraid of them, because the day we do not do it, we will know why.
