At the end of the day a day solely doesn’t make up a week, there are seven days in a week if you eat well throughout that week and let yourself indulge one day, what harm can it seriously do? If it’s harming you mentally enough to want to give up perhaps you should consider losing the weight watches program, losing weight is tough enough without having to live to strict guidelines. I’m not fond of ‘diets’ or programs to lose weight, I feel they put too much strain on the process, I’ve found more benefit by changing my lifestyle in terms of what I eat, when I eat, and what exercise I do. If you do feel guilty/ashamed over it, consider trying to ‘justify’ it to your mind or gain retribution by doing whatever you do to exercise a bit longer or harder, if you can convince yourself that you’ve done more to compensate for the slip hopefully you won’t beat yourself up so bad or if you do counter the feelings with ’well I did 15 minutes longer walking’ and gain from the positive actions you took and avoid feeling low enough to raid the fridge.
