I am responding because I am on the other side of the picture. I wonder how many of you clean up after yourselves? How many of you help out where needed? How many of you cook dinner occasionally? I ask because my son lives with us and he does neither. He is becoming a pampered prince. Besides the fact that he needs to grow up and be on his own, he is making life harder for is aging parents. Have you ever thought of it that way?

yes.....and to clear your mind let me tell you that...... at my place i am pampered ofcourse yet i am responsible for various chores at my place as well as i takepart in the financial matters of my house. i pay various bills and i am responsible for grocery shopping and all......
In India you will always notice that most of the children even though earning they stay with their parents , so that in their old age we children can take care of them.....
You need to work on certain things with your son in regard to responsibilties that he will handle on his own.....

yes i do. they are constant source of support and inspiration for me, i just cannot do without them. there have been times when i didnot listen to them, i ended up hurting myself and they without a word protected me unfailingly.
i just respect them and wud not do anything to hurt them anymore.
they are the best.
