I'm Back From The Beach!

After a wonderful week at the beach, I got home from Virginia Beach today about noon. The weather was fantastic. Just one evening it was rather cool but the rest of the time, even though it was overcast with clouds a couple days, it was warm. Then, lots of sunshine and a wonderful ocean breeze. We walked on the boardwalk and down on the beach and watched the dolphins jumping out of the water almost every day. We ate at several different restaurants. Really good sea food. I had she-crab soup at three different restaurants. It was all good but different tastes. I had coconut shrimp and scallops, some crab legs and hush puppies. We only cooked breakfast a couple times and dinner twice. My spaghetti was requested, so I made that for everyone one evening and then one of the gals fixed a chicken dinner one evening. Today before we left, there was a HUGE marathon right by our condo. Hundreds of runners and walkers and wheel chairs rolled by. Many of the runners were in costume. We enjoyed watching them. There were some crazy costumes. From Dinosaurs to Elvis, to jelly fish, to Disney characters and all sorts of other costumes. It was a wonderful week. I’ll tell you more about it later. I just wanted to get something out on mylot today, because we had NO WIFI all week. Something was wrong with the system at our resort. We were all very frustrated. But, other than that we had a great time. We did a lot of things. I’ll let you know later.
