New Jersey State Trooper Dennis Palaia is being called a hero for saving the life of a man who was with his son at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Rockaway Township New Jersey on Sunday.
Todd Hendricks who was seated at the next table with his son, was choking on a grilled chicken tender. The child who was seated along with his father did not know that his dad was choking.
Palaia who was off duty at the time of the incident used the Heimlich Manuever to save the life of Hendricks.
The Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant offered Palaia free chicken for one year due to his heroic act, but Palaia turned it down since he is a public servant.

That is what angers me of the media. Paint the police as monsters or stooges.
