Really Stupid, Crazy, Destructive Teenage Pranks

With "Mischief Night" coming on October 30th it got me to thinking about teenage pranks. Can you remember any crazy things you ever did as a teenager? Or maybe something destructive that when you think back on it you realized was pretty stupid? I remember a couple of examples, one destructive, and the other pretty stupid. Both crazy! The first one occurred during the election season. My friends and I threw Indian Ink on our neighbor's political sign, which was displayed on their front lawn. We did this around midnight as to not be detected by anyone. It was a Saturday night, October 30th, so the next day we had to walk by the house on the way to Sunday mass. As we looked at the billboard, we could see our ink hit its mark. The political figure's face was covered in black. The second example occurred while I was in college. A group of us had just come back from Spring break in Florida (as college kids do). We brought back to school fireworks that we purchased at a place called Silly Sally's in Tennessee. Long story short, we shot bottle rockets off down the hallway of our dorm. Pretty stupid because we could of got expelled from college for that prank. Also could of hit someone with the fireworks. So what wild and crazy teenage things have you done? I won't tell on you, lol. Photo- u tube.com

It will be interesting . We play a game in my college . We first surround a person and target on him without knowing him . There will be a spy . Where he will start. after he turned back . We will close his eyes frm behind . And beat him up . After struggling he will cme out . And we will stay quite . And he thinks of who had beaten him soo badly . While tht we will again punch him

I have never heard of a game like that? I hope the person does not get seriously injured.

the worst was smoke and drink. also run down the street screaming at the top of our lungs in the middle of the night. then hide. stupid because if someone was really in trouble neighbors would have thought it was us again.

I bet the screaming caused a commotion in your neighborhood. Smoking and drinking are things that can tempt teens to try, not unusual.

When I went to Hebrew School after regular school we had a teacher that pretended to write our names on a piece of paper. I took it once and it was blank. I cannot remember how he reacted or how I got it back to where it belongs. He wanted to know who took it and nobody told on me. I can't remember past that.

@dgobucks226 DB, no, I did not grow up to become a criminal or go on to criminal activities. It was just a prank and wanted to see if he really wrote names on the paper or not.

Well Hanni, that was a bit mischievous huh. But not too bad compared with other acts of juvenile delinquency.

I remember that prank done to someone in the photo. It was not very funny when they started fighting! Yea, teens can be pretty stupid when trying to be funny, Invisible.

Never did a thing to anyone, except to pinch a few yummy and crunchy pears from someone's gardens on our way home from school. We didn't steal mind you, they were outside their properties.

@dgobucks226 Stolen fruits always taste better . I since have tried to buy crunchy pears and realized that I could never get that same taste again.

I am thinking, but I cannot remember anything I did that was a stupid prank and even less something dangerous. I had a very strict Mom.

I don't even remember doing crazy things as a teen, it was the 60's. I loved college and even there no crazy things except maybe drinking too much once in a while. I think it might have been because of my parents, great parents, no nonsense kind of parents but great fun as family.

You realize Shutterstock isn't free images, right? The first prank was harmless - no one got hurt. I'm certain the person who's lawn it was on, wasn't happy with you, even if he didn't know you did it. The second prank was dangerous. You're lucky no one got hurt or you expelled. I wasn't a prankster. I don't think any of us kids were.

We were boarder line juvenile delinquents back in my day. Thinking back on it, I was pretty lucky to get away with things and pretty stupid to try them
