How Peculiar

We have a new neighbor, he moved in I think maybe 2 months ago, maybe less. After this couple that I have known my entire life left to go to an old folks home. This guy and his brother and his brother's fiancee moved in and they have been fixing up the place.
My mom is very sociable, she made friends with the guy and they have been chatting.
He is apparently an odd fellow. He doesn't really come up to people to talk, he waits for other people to come to him. And he does it in ways of like people NEED to talk to him, instead of just coming to him. Like he demands it kind of.
anyway, so he is an odd fellow. So today, my mom goes out to give the birds water and she finds our neighbor....get ready for this.
She finds out neighbor PAINTING the side of our house.
Now, I know it sounds like a nice gesture because it is, it is really nice of him to do that. But it is also really creepy.
If he would have knocked on the door and went "hey, I have some paint left over, it matched, can I paint your house for you?" That would have been okay. It is odd but people get bored.
Nope, he just started painting the side of the house!
It is just so odd. My mom doesn't really know how to handle this situation. I kind of already figured out with the fact that, since he doesn't like to approach people, he probably didn't think to ask about it first.
Well...at least the side of our house looks pretty. I wouldn't know since I haven't looked at it. But yeah!
So weird

Painting the side of your house? That's pretty bold, without even asking permission!

@DesirousDreamer That was overly bold and he was way out of line!:(

Exactly! It wouldn't have been so odd if he would have just mentioned in or asked

It is good to pay it forward, but without permission to go onto someone's property like that is just interesting haha

He is an introvert, but I am an introvert and I wouldn't do something out of my way like that without permission haha
