Hello my fellow myLotters! I just want to share you this incident because it is so unbecoming for me and my family. I was assigned to join the academy just this July for a month i stayed in the US to finish the course. It was my first time to travel there and i am greatful that my cousin drives to places during weekends. In return i spend my food allowance with her and her husband. Everything went out well except that i was not able to bring her mom’s Maltesers from Cosco due to excess baggage which i could not afford. So i left it at my other cousins house because her son will also go to the US he can then bring the chocolates for her. When i went back to our country, my aunt gave me and my family so many harsh words and said that i do not value her as a person because i was not able to bring her the Malteseers that she is looking forward to. How can you measure the value of a person by not being able to do favors for a reasonable cause? What are your thoughts on this my friends? I really feel so bad. Photo from Google

if you had tried to explain it to her the reason why you were not able to bring along with you that Malteseers then you have nothing to explain further just give her a hug and a sincere apology, you already know how our folks in our country (matampuhin) ,all shall come to pass

Oh I can understand the feeling of being trapped with their negative thinking For so many years we always pleased them and understand that they`re up and we`re down but what I don`t understand is why they can`t see all those sacrifices we always make for them instead wanted us to feel more down until we kneel infront of them . Anyways, I`m done with it all my big sister I hope you`ll not be affected by them just go on forward to your success because you can`t see them when you fail

That's too shallow. Buy her Malteseers at duty free or better yet at S&R.

@coolchai I think you're wrong. There's no difference in the taste especially when you get it in S&R or Duty Free. I've tried already.
