I am mylotting a bit for just a little while.
In about an hour, I will start hearing the bell ring and some ghosts an d goblings will come to my door to ask for treats. As I´m a bad witch, I usually ask them to do something if they are very little.
After some time I turn all my lights out as if I was out of the house. It is the time of the real monsters and I don´t want to open my door to them. These monsters are usually teen agers who are not as nice as the small fry who come with a grown up.
I have a lot of gums for the children. The only thing they won´t get are the pineappe sweets. Those are the ones I like best and the ol´ witch keeps them for herself
Happy halloween!!!

Usually they just get the sweets. But sometimes I make them sing for me

I love pineapple. We used to get little candy with a soft center that were strawberry and pineapple as I recall. Very tasty. Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween. We don't have something like that in my area. I just don't know in other places if they have that kind of tradition. It is already November 1 here and we are supposed to go to the cemetery. Unfortunately, it has been raining a lot and that makes it difficult to go there.

Many people specially in the country go to the cemetery here. In the country they don´t have the imported Halloween.

Teenagers and older ones much more than that have no manners Margi and I don´t feel inclined to give them anything.
If it were just the little ones I had Haribo sweets for the just in case.
However thank goodness neither turned up in the end and it was a nice quiet Halloween.

I do the same thing. I give candy out when it is daylight and I am free. Once I have to start cooking dinner and it is pitch black out, I turn off the porch light and lock the door.
We had our trick or treat in town last night. There is a huge Halloween parade tonight so most local towns do it the night before so children can enjoy both events.
