No not really, but I had the interesting experience of reading a message sent to me from a relatively new member that asked this very question. They didnt specify why or what they wanted so badly to talk about. Just asked for my skype user name. Needless to say I blocked the person. Probably should report them too.
I cant say I have even seen them respond to any of my discussions either. Do you get messages like this?

If it made you uncomfortable, by all means block them. A single message of this nature or two is not really a violation. But if it becomes persistent, or the messages start going beyond seemingly benign, by all means, report them to me and I will deal with it immediately. I have a zero tolerance policy for perverted behavior here.

People need to get a life, I never get messages like that, but we all know men are much creepier than women.

Not exactly the same request but yeah I've had people who don't even bother interacting on my discussions suddenly pm-ing me. So annoying.

I've had all kinds of invites, to join other sites and about my Facebook account (don't have one). One man contacted me and kept sending smiley faces with hearts I wasn't interested in being his close friend!

@maezee He said, 'Hey, I'd like to become friends, with you!' I didn't appreciate that, even a little bit!

That is so creepy! I have had some messages like this. It is best to report and block and rinse and repeat because these kinds of people are all over

@maezee I've been on the social internet for a while. Even as a child these creeps try to video chat with me. It is just...ugh so gross.

Hmmmm. I'd certainly be completely turned off by such a person . A message about extended myLot things and friends is fine, but asking for personal info outside of here is rather inappropriate - especially when they are not even familiar to you on the myLot field. Block and report for sure - we don't need 'em here!

I did see that comment on your discussion and I thought it was kind of creepy. I would have done the same as you did.

Yes, I do. I received some private messages from some myLotters recently asking for my Whatsapp number, FB user name, etc. I'm afraid to give them my personal identity.

I''m fairly new, so I haven't received a first message on here, but I get messages like that other places all the time. Most especially Facebook. I once had a chick message me out of the blue; she wasn't in any of the same groups as me, had no friends in common, hell she wasn't even in the same country as me. But she messaged me just to say "women are b*tches. I hate how snotty women act." Uh? Okay, lady? Cool beans?

It seems disgusting that someone asked for your skype ID. No sane mylotter would normally do it, that fellow seems odd to me.

No I have never had this request in all my previous years at Mylot. I would have blocked them too and this is just so intrusive. Not a good thing at all. Never encourage the sneakies and creepies!

I also have a stalker here, he keeps on sending me private messages asking about my personal life and other things. There were already 4 of them since I joined here . Others were reported to admin and got deleted and others were ignored.Others might join here for a personal purpose and they will never prosper.

I got that kind of message in G+. That american guy wanted to hangout with me. Lol! My profile photo in G+ was when I was 50 years old. I think I have to change it with an 80 years old woman. I said I don't hang out but if he will persists, I will block him.
