When it works, it works

I get so happy when I'm out helping the little men do their activities and we find someone who just 'gets them.' They've been horseback riding for a few years, and while they like it, it can be hard for them at times. Just like any activity, you never know what your going to get when they go into an activity. Anyway, one of the volunteers just seems to click with little dude. He has become his 'person' at least as far as this activity goes. And little dude is NOT interested in his friend helping anyone else out. I've loved to watch their relationship blossom and develop, his friend has become and amazing advocate for him. It's one of those situations where, when something works, it just works. And it's a beautiful thing.
