I watched a great tv show this week. It was called “eat well for less” where they take a member of the public, empty all of their cupboards in the kitchen, replace all the packets with plain cardboard boxes, and switch some of the contents with supermarket own brands and sometimes economy range products too.
The people on the show then admit that they can’t tell the difference in taste, or they’ll say “oh I don’t like this coffee” only for us viewers to be told the coffee hasn’t been switched.
Then at the end of the experiment we’re told “if you made these switches you would save x a month”
It’s a great idea for a show.
Have you seen it?

Now I'm curious what those generic products were. I generally don't eat much from boxes. I eat stuff like pasta and canned beans and marinara sauce but not much of those mixes and such.

I hadn't heard about it. I don't think they could do that with my cupboards as my cupboards don't have food in them, my fridge does. It's all fresh or frozen.

Not air in Malaysia but this is a good show to guide people to store the right food

@YesWay wish that more of this genre show should air often, people are heading to obesity now
