I asked my doctor recently how much water we should drink, since I don't want to drink too much. She said you could drink 20 16.9 fl oz bottles per day (spread out throughout the day) and be fine. It's only an issue when people drink a ton all at once, like for water chugging contests or if they're dehydrated out in the desert and drink multiple gallons at once.
Anyway, yeah, don't believe everything you read online. Even on medical sites. Just because it's posted online, doesn't mean an "expert" wrote it. Any yahoo could have made it up.

Yes I agree few people, me included, don't cite information they just spit it out. I've heard people talk about this water issue but not sure where it is coming from. So is it accurate? I don't know.
Apparently when we eat anything or something as simple as a tablet of vit c and drink a lot of water (way too much) out it goes. So as water does remove nasty impurities and toxins so it can also remove what we need to live.
As we age are bodies slow down in processing vits and minerals to the point that is what everyone will naturally die of vitamin and mineral deficiency. There is no stopping it. We can only live the best we can so to promote good health and enjoy the time we have I guess.

I might read about something but that does not mean to say that I believe all of it.

@Hatley
Not everything makes sense does it if you dig deeper into the information that they say is true.

I do lots of research for something before I believe it to be true.

It is always good to view the source of the article. Of course, in these times of fake news nothing is certain

When someone said water is unhealthy, it could really be farce, so do not believe it. Water could be unhealthy if it is dirty.

Ha! That reminds me of the movie, Idiocracy, where everyone in the future was appalled at the time-traveler that wanted to drink water.
"Like, the stuff in toilets?" they'd ask. Took the character a long time to convince them that water was good for them.
