What is the right age to get married??

November 5, 2017 10:16am CST
In most countries a guy and a girl can get married when a guy is 21 year old and a girl is 18 year old. According to me 28 for a girl and 32 for a guy would be a right a age to get married. What is the right age to get married according to you??

So many times I read a post such as this one at mylot that it seems that it is an important question for many people. To all of them, I say: it depends. And for me it depends on each person. If for you it is 28 and 32, so be it.

Maturity wise, you are probably about right for most people to be considered the perfect age. Have seen a lot get married younger than this that work, and many older than this that work, and then many that don't for various reasons. I think it takes Love and a willingness to make it work no matter what comes.

In The UK it's legal to marry at 16 (for both sexes) with parental consent. At 18 no parental consent is needed (though it's advisable, of course). There isn't otherwise any 'right' age for marriage It would make good sense, of course, to make sure that the couple are able to support themselves financially and emotionally but, sadly, that isn't always the case.

In my opinion it all boils down to stability in terms of emotional, financial etc. Age is just a number to be the basis for such a big decision.

No age is right or wrong. It depends when they guys and the girl both or at least one is settled in their life, they could go for marriage.

There is no right age to get married. In fact, don't get married at all. It is a trap!

Personally I feel there is no right age , once the boy and the girl are financially stable and mentally mature enough to take on the responsibilities they can marry. I was 20 and my husband was 25 when we got married and definitely not ready for marriage . This is what happens in an arranged marriage , but you learn to adjust and compromise. However, things are different now and the younger generation has more choice ..

There is no right age to get married. You do it when you are totally in love.

The right age when you are mature enough to take this important step. I was 20 when I got married and my husband 24, 46 years ago. It seems it was the right age for me, I have been happy all my life and we are still together.

For a girl, the right age for marriage is 23 years and for a boy, it is 29 years. They will have the maturity at this age.

It is the age that feels right to you. My husband and I got married at 16 and 18, yes young but we knew what we wanted. We were both pretty mature too and had our own place and everything.
