Why I am quitting my job!

A few months ago, I discovered a product at the Dollar Tree that's great for cleaning headlights. I joked with my kid client that we should start a business, stalking drivers in parking lots and cleaning their headlights for $40/pair.
Later, I discovered that the same product is great for cleaning tires! Just spray it on and drive. Your tires will look all black and and shiny, like when you first bought them. I'd only charge maybe $20 per set. Heh.
I don't know how I managed to drive my Nissan Xterra for 199,000 miles without cleaning the rims, but I did. And then, the other day, I discovered that the same product, used with paper towel or a rag and some elbow grease, is great for cleaning rims!
After doing some due diligence, in various parking lots, I discovered that 33% of headlights need cleaning, 50% of tires look dirty and tired (no pun intended), and literally 67% of the rims I see look old and dingy.
I have quit my college teaching job. I have quit my afternoon kid counseling job. I have even dropped my preschool teaching to two days a week. After three days of cleaning rims, I have made close to $1000! I charge $80 per set, and try to do four sets a day.
Have you ever been an entrepreneur? Cha ching!
Note: Parts of this post are actually true. I'll lead with an after picture, and post a before picture somewhere if I get any comments.

A friend of mine from Santa Barbara (Chez Many Bums) was approached by a scruffy parking lot dude with the (true) rap that you can get a ticket for dirty headlights. He said he'd pay him $40 if he (the scruffy dude) revealed his secret. His secret was the Totally Awesome Liquid Cleaner from the Dollar Store. That's how this whole thing got started.

I actually hope this whole thing is a joke. Let me clean the damn head lights and you teach. I mean if teachers are quitting to clean head lights. This country is screwed.

@marguicha If they do it for parents, neighbors, etc., like I did with babysitting and mowing lawns, it should be OK. Kid need to learn industry.

Yes I have always been the entrepreneur, I have owned or ran several businesses and as you know I am a rental property owner / House flipper.
Yes save one job because if it fizzles out then you will have something to fall back on.

@andriaperry Heh heh. I'll try and be safe. Today I tried to do some spinny rims, but they kept getting away from me.

If it was at all possible that is something I would be more than happy to do. I am always in need of finances. Other than that I am sure no one would pay you that kind of money. Not when they could clean their own cars or go to a car wash. Do let us know what is really what.

This is remarkable, if it's true! You said some parts aren't factual, I can't wait to find out what is!

@TheHorse There's one cleaner at Save a Lot, that works on anything! It's a green color, I've used it before. 'Mean Green'

@kobesbuddy I wonder if it's similar. This stuff is clear. It's basically the generic liquid version of Oxyclean.

Wow sounds like God blessed you in a very big way! So others can share in this blessing what is the product you are using? I know white toothpaste cleans head lights real well. My husband and I read it on the internet and tried it out and sure enough it works like a charm.
