Last night there was a small misunderstanding between my mom, sister and myself. My mom and sister were on the same side.....So it was like Mom&Sister vs. Me.There was a heated arguement.......Though I was a one-man army,I was very strongly defending my stance giving them a tough fight. After a point of time while the controversy was going on,I lost my cool.I just started turning a deaf ear to my sister and my mom and I also started cutting them out,not letting them to finish what they had to say.Atlast we went to bed with the conflict unresolved. This morning when I woke up I felt bad about the way I handled the situation last night......If only I had not turned a deaf ear or cut them out yesterday and properly 'Confronted' them, the conflict would have been long resolved......Hence the best strategy to efffectively and constructively resolve a conflict is 'The Confronting Strategy'.......Do you agree with me?How do you handle your conflicts?

yes, i usually fight with my mom too, since she is easily annoyed and i have an answer to everything but when it gets serious, i usually just keep my calm and let her talk her heart out

I prefer not to talk in that kind of situation because I'm afraid I would say things I don't mean or say something that would just make things worse. Not always easy to do of course. But in your case it would probably be easier to talk when everyone is calm.

Based on experience, I shouted, got angry, ignored them. I learned to let go, to give myself some sanity. And wait. For everything to cool down.
