Open Mindedness in Politics

United States

During the US elections, I was very sick. I have a chronic illness and I was at my worst during this time period. Mostly I could just lie in bed and watch Youtube videos. I took the time to learn about different perspectives in politics. I am open minded and tried to watch politics from different perspectives. I watched Young Turks, Ben Shapiro, Stephan Molyeneux, Infowars, The Rubin Report, Joe Rogan Experience, 1791L, Mainstream medica networks. I was very familiar with left wing channels since I had been raised to be left wing, so I exposed myself as much as possible to the other side of the spectrum. It opened my mind greatly. I recommend doing this to everyone. It will give you a better picture of the political spectrum. Don't just watch what your side shows you of the other side through clips and excerpts, they often show you things out of context and the worse tidbits. Watch the other side, whatever side you've been told is the enemy. Try different channels and maybe you find some common ground with one of them.
