What should I do for a career?

I am studying to become a physical therapist, but I am not interested in that anymore I found myself getting involved with listening to police scanner radio or emergency radio on the internet, I find myself looking at local crime,supporting our law enforcement community, and standing up for the underdog. I am thinking about joining a police academy after I get my Bachelors degree in sports training, Am I making the right decision on joining the law enforcement community? I am nervous I have two roads in front of me.
