Actias luna, the moon butterfly, is a species native to North America. He is one of our most beautiful moths. It is distinguished by its emerald wings whose diameter varies between 7 and 11 centimeters and which end with long extensions of the rear wings like a tail. The moon butterfly is observable at the edge of the forest, in the forest, in the forest roads and is attracted by the light, characteristic common to almost all the moths. Actias luna does not like pollution and so we hardly ever see it in town. Abusive hunting and over-pollution contribute to the decline of individuals of its species.
