Missing Autumn Already

Around here where I live Autumn ended very abruptly. This Fall foliage photo from Pixabay reminds me of how much I like Autumn and how things looked like around here just a couple of weeks ago. But then one day we had a ferocious wind storm that blew all the leaves off all the trees. The Fall Foliage was gone within just a matter of hours. It is now all over the ground.
The trees have been buck naked ever since and it seems like winter. While this was kind of sad for me, I was still happy about one thing: leaf stomping. I just love stomping my feet through piles of dried leaves. I actually derive great pleasure from this. Am I weird? Do other people like doing this, too?
Soon it will be time to stomp through snow.

There is no snow nor fall foliage here in sunny SoCal.

@JohnRoberts - That's good to hear. It was the early 1980s when I last lived there and there was a lot of smog back then.

Leaf stomping I could go for. Snow, not so much.
