How do you meditate? My current favorite form of meditation is Mindfulness Meditation, where you let thoughts and emotions flow through you, but do not hold on to them, simply accept what is.

Thinking medidation, interesting. I had always thought of meditation as something you do to think less. Did someone teach you or did this evolve on its own?

@Metathresh it depends why I'm meditating... One practice was imagery. Focus on something a beach or forest and relax through that til you could just be a peaceful part of it. Like a leaf floating down to the ground. Then when relaxed / focused..and move on to a more mindful prayer / meditation

I like this idea. How hard to shut your mind off though.

The meditation can come in may forms but reading the "Good Book" is what seems to capture my meditation modes.

I meditate while laying down. It's more prominent for lucid dreaming and other more intense brain states. Though it's been quite a while since I could reach those states of mind, because I keep falling asleep which is a tough obstacle to beat during this form of meditation. When you get to the point where you're body is asleep but you've kept your mind awake, that is were things become interesting.
