a lot of people nowadays will not agree with meeting friends they meet online, why i this so? i mean they are still your friends even if the difference is just a few miles or a million miles apart.
what is the big deal why people dont wanna meet most or any friends from online?

Oh I would love to meet online friends. Especially those that I have become friends with for many years. I have nothing against having romantic relationship or even marrying someone even if we just met online. That has already happened here in mylot. Seven years ago, two members from the same country, became friends here and developed a romantic relationship. They eventually got married and I believe they are still married until now.

@rickstylez But I do understand some people's hesitation about that. There are a lot of people online who takes advantage of others and scammers too. There are a lot of perverts as well.

I do not indulge in making friends with unknown people because it is not safe. The social media is filled with scammers.....When we are skeptical about the person's identity I don't think developing a intimate relationship is a good idea......Of course there are stories with happy endings......But there are also utterly tragic endings wherein people have been deeply disappointed, abused and also hurt.......I feel that one cannot get to know a person better and develop a sense of trust without face to face confrontation.....Though there are exceptional cases......
