Researchers believe there are gold and silver below Lake Toplitz and valuable art paintings, when Nazis fled allied forces during WWII they throw boxes full of unknown content in Lake Toplitz. Seven people have already died trying to find Toplitz treasure.
Lake Toplitz is an Austrian Lake surrounded by forests, back in 1944 the Lake border served as a Nazi testing station, they used the shore to launch missiles for testing purposes, making vast crates into canyon walls. This operation was called operation Eldorado, Nazi scientists blasted tons of explosives to test the power and capabilities.
Researchers say there is £35 billion worth of gold at the moment below Lake Toplitz, 7 people died trying to recover the treasure, the depths of Toplitz Lake is dangerous because there are lots of wood logs below the Lake causing it very difficult to reach the depth.
100 million Great Britain Pound bank notes were found by professional divers, divers alleged the money was used as a tentative to destabilize UK and US, an operation called Operation Bernhard.
They never found gold into Lake Toplitz, only Nazi weapons, explosive, stamps and other relics, gold is still a pursue that legal and illegal divers try to find. Although diving into Toplitz Lake is forbidden. Researchers believe an SS officer Ernst Kaltenbrunner was in charge in this mission to hide Nazi treasures into Toplitz Lake.
