Fire o Fire

Freinds i want to share a funny incident here .This incident had happened in my school days . I went for an English movie with my family. The towering inferno (I do not know whether the name of the movie is, correct). The movie is about a fire, which had broke out in a multi-storied building which killed many people at the end of the film, the hero dies while trying to saving the people. It was a good movie where FIRE was the center of attraction and picture of fire alone was imprinted in my mind after when I was returning home. After some days, i went to pooja room- our prayer room) to light a lamp. It was our festival time and the pooja room had been decorated with glittering papers, which were placed on a table. Some of these papers were lying loose on it. When I lit the lamp one spark from the match stick fell on the colour paper and it slowly caught fire though not a big fire but on seeing the fire I suddenly screamed ‘fire fire. My mind at that moment was full of scenes of the movie, ‘THE TOWERING INFERNO’. All I had to do was to blow away the fire. My scream brought my sisters & brothers from the kitchen, I poured a glass of water, and fire disappeared. Later every one asked y cant u do it in the first place itself instead of screaming in a judgment or in a frantic style. I know it is not a very funny incident but when I think about now, I feel it as funny. Kishore
