Yahtzee!

My family used to be very close to each other. We used to go over to my great grandma's house during holidays, over to my grandma's house during birthdays. We didn't hate each other. We had arguments and such but what family doesn't? Then in 2005 when my great grandma passed away we all got separated. There ended up being a lot of hatred and anger. Recently, I've been playing this mobile app called Yahtzee with buddies. That helped me remember the old times with my family before my great grandma passed. My great grandma really loved Yahtzee. She would play it all the time. At any gathering it would be her and her sisters and then my grandma and her sisters, everyone would be playing! I didn't play that much because I didn't understand what was going on. Unless I brought my Pokemon yahtzee, then all those old bags were going down! And it kind of stayed in my family. That was the one thing that actually brought us together. I am not fond of two of my great aunts (great grandma's daughter) but I didn't mind playing a game of yahtzee with them...especially since the last time I did, I beat the heck out of them, scoring over 300, ha! I just liked remembering times when we were still a family. Now they are just people I share blood with. But, it is always good to remember what was.

It does, course my family was already on the gateway to that anyway. My great aunts are all racist bigots anyway and hated my mom and I haha my great grandma was just able to keep them quiet.

I love yahtzee, both the game itself and by the app. Most of my "family" are just blood sharers too.

Once again you have proved that it is only the elderly people who maintain relationships and bind all family members together. They are really great and try to pacify the misunderstands in family members.

Not really. My family was already really hateful, my great grandma just tried to keep anyone calm.

Superb game, I used to play all the time. I'm sure it was this kind of game that has driven my passion for casino games and sports betting! Very competitive streak!

@peachpurple We are not closed minded like they are, My family is very racist, republicans, homophobic, and they are also religious and my mom and I are not. So, they don't like us. Oh, and my mom and i like rock music and wear a lot of black, so they think we worship the devil.

I'm sorry that the family seem to have drifted apart. :( Who knows, maybe you could try sharing your feelings with some of them and they may want to get together for a game night? I love playing games and they too have been a good tradition in my family. Except its more about playing cards!
