Favorite "Dream" Songs #10 - "Dreaming of Me"

It's a double DM day here at Team Freak Headquarters, having already used Depeche Mode today in another music series. This countdown consists of songs with "dream" (or a variation) in the title. We begin with #10: "Dreaming of Me." From their 1981 debut album (Certified gold in three countries,) Speak and Spell, "Dreaming of Me," is the sort of synth pop that early Depeche Mode specialized in. "Dreaming of Me," was, in fact, the band's first ever single, and reached #57 in the UK. It was not released as a single here in the States. However, because of it's disappointing performance, it was originally was left off the original British pressing of Speak and Spell (yet was included in the American pressing.)
