The Call I Dread

No, no one died, that is always a call I hate to make, the tell family that someone has died but this is another call I hate to make due to the people always want to argue with me.
The insurance company. I swear sometimes these people do not want to pay a red cent but are very happy and smiling while you give ALL your money to them.
No its not a claim for something that I did or that needs repaired, its getting money for what someone else did to me and my property. The person has already stood up and claimed what he did so now its up to the company to pay for the repairs.
I jumped through hoops and gave them what they want, twice, so now its on the table and this " sound like a kid" wants to tell me what he will do for me. HA!
I may have to remind him about the coverage that most all companies offer for this type of accident so he wont low ball me.

Our friends home burnt to the ground. Their insurance company stalled for an entire year, trying to get out of paying to build a new house!:(

I've had good experiences and bad experiences when dealing with insurance companies. When we had damage done by the hunters....they were quick to cover....when we had tornado damage....they were on the ball. When we had a power surge...they did their darnedest to avoid covering the damage.

I have one case still unresolved and its been 2 1/2 years., this one has been going on for months and its not that much to fix but they expect me to do it, I wont, they will pay for it to be fixed.

Sounds like a pain..my morning was OK..tried to get a mystery shop set up with no luck..and didn't get the PL payment which was annoying but it came in later.

Insurance companies are horrible when it comes to collecting and demanding when you owe them. Hope you get it settled.
