Do You Think ASUS is a Great Brand For Laptop?

I recently purchased an ASUS laptop, but I am really disappointed. Within a few months, there was a problem with the screen, along with other issues. I sent the laptop back to ASUS for a repair (because, I had warranty), but they charged me around $350. I mean, seriously? How's your experience with ASUS?

I think Dell is more durable and price friendly.

I guess it was a good decision to buy Dell instead. It's been running good for four years.

I used to be in the computer business and I recall some High end Asus had problems . But honestly, I think it's also the luck of the draw when it comes to modern electronics. Unless there is a design flaw in a particular model, than if its good for the first few months its usually good for a long time. I always like to use the hell out of a new piece of gear so if it does fail I will know sooner rather than after the warranty expires. It's not foolproof, but its helped me several times to get a new unit from the store before 30 or 90 days are up , whatever the policy is.
