It's A Beautiful Day For A Walk In The Woods

Today is the perfect day to take a stroll through the woods. Walks in-between the trees hearing the crunch of fallen leaves beneath your feet.
Listening to the breeze rustle the leaves still attached to the trees in their colorful splendor. Sniffing the fresh air pungent with all of the wondrous odors of Autumn.
This has always been my favorite time of year. I have always loved those solitary walks through the woods where it is so quiet you could hear a leaf fall to the ground.
I wish I had woods nearby so I could take a little stroll.

When I was young I would lie down on the ground and look up through the trees. It was one of the most peaceful times in my life. I enjoyed it so much. I still love to walk in the woods in the cooler weather. I hate the bugs in the warmer weather though.

@rebelann Oh, I grew up in the woods! It is a magical time in a kids life when they can spend the majority of the day in the woods!

I envy you @Shellyann36 growing up my family was mostly on Army bases and the only thing about them that I recall were the sandboxes and swings. Not really bad but not as good as having real natural woods around either

Wooded walks are nice..but it seems when I walk in the woods here, I always get lost. There are no paths really.

I haven't walked in the woods in ages but I do like the pathways we have at a local park.

I never liked walking in the woods, even as a kid. No idea why either.
