Who, Me? Stressed?

I thought I would get a jump on Christmas this year and bought some magazine subscriptions online, one each for my youngest granddaughters and one for my son.
Okay... so I got the confirmation email for my son's subscription and they had the name wrong. How, I don't know. They had his name and his wife's name! I didn't put in his wife's name. Why would I? How did they get it? So I called them and they said they would fix it.
On to getting the snail mail confirmations. The addresses are wrong for both granddaughters and my son's wife's name is still on his!
I'm glad I started early.
I was wakened by my phone this morning, a call from my eye doctor's staff. I have a grant for treatment of macular degeneration. I spent a good amount of time getting all the information to them, but they denied payment and asked for my insurance information again- from the doctor. So... I get to drive all the way across town tomorrow to deliver paper information and hope I still get help with the very expensive treatments.
After doing that and spending heaven only knows how long on the phone trying to get things cleared up, my day will be shot, at least emotionally.
Do you mind doing things like that? I hate it!

Hope you get the payments approved for your MD treatments. I had the injections in one eye every two weeks for about two years. I'm in remission and haven't needed one for over two years now. Praise God!

Yes, praise God! I have it in one eye, too, but am getting the injections every 4 weeks. I just started 4 months ago and am getting good results! The doctor even mentioned how fast it was changing and I told him I had been praying about it. He just said "keep on doing what you're doing."

It's those little things that can be so annoying, and always seem to take the longest to straighten out. I hope they get those addresses right and the eye doctor gets the information they need so you can get the treatments you need.

I agree. I took the document to the doctor's but have to wait now to see what if the grant money will come through, just hoping the addresses/name on the subscriptions will be changed the way they said they would!
There's only one thing wrong with modern technology and that's inefficiency. Oh, for the good old days when you could talk to a person and be reasonably sure they heard you.

Doctor paper work is never fun and then even worse when it is out of your way.

I don't like having to deal with things like that either, very frustrating.

Yes, wasting time on the phone is a terrible thing! And, so many things we do will take half the day. The world should be getting easier, but sometimes seems more complicated!

Lately it seems like people are always getting information wrong. Not sure if they are in a hurry, or what but it is a little not good when you cannot get a name and especially an address correct. I've even had it happen from places I order stuff from online mess up. It really makes you wonder.
