i think it would be best to meet up in groups. If you really want to see that person, then do it in groups with a few people around just to secure your safety if you still dont trust the person. You never know whats on the mind of a person these says.

How we are online is different to how we are offline. I know it about myself and have learned it through meeting others offline who I thought were one thing and who turned out to be another. I think it's important to be able to spend a lot of time in the real world with this person to see what they are like.

This is my advice to you. Never ever trust anyone but yourself. Yes you could mingle and get to know someone on the internet but never give your full trust to them. They might be a scam or something. In terms to meeting up with him, it depends on you whether to meet him or not but make sure you are going to meet him in a public place and just to be more secure bring someone with you during meet up.
