Do you think that Wal-Mart made a bad decision getting rid of layaway. I figure the moms will answer this question

I don't agree with it either. I still can't believe that they did that. Think they'll lose alot of business over it. Would be nice if they would put it back into effect.

Why do you say that Wal-mart got rid of layaway? I have stuff on layaway, which reminds me I have to pick it up this weekend...But I haven't heard anything about that at least in my state there is nothing about it.

Yes, I think it is a very bad decision. I always used the layaway. It made it so much easier when I didn't have a lot of money and I could just make payments. I probably won't be shopping there much anymore unless I really have to.

Yes, I think that Wal-Mart did a stupid thing getting rid of lay away. I much preferred to lay things away rather than use a high interest credit card. Thus far that is how I managed to stay mostly out of debt. If we could get together and email Wal-Mart maybe they would keep it!

I think it's a very bad decision!! Sam Walton wanted everybody to have the oppurnunity to shop there regardless of how much money they made or not. That was a way for them to get what they wanted by paying a little at a time.
