Emergency Services... Police, Fire, Ambulance, Coast Guard

What´s the phone number in your country for calling the emergency services? Have you ever phoned for police, ambulance or fire brigade? A friend of mine had to call an ambulance for her husband at 3am today, he was having a heart attack. I have never had to call for an emergency service.
