Do you like U2?

How do people feel about U2? It's been hard for me to find people that agree with me, but I think they're over-rated. I like some of their songs, but I can't really understand why a lot of people think that they are musical geniuses. I don't see anything in their music that's just ground-breaking or heads and shoulders above all other artists.
Are there any U2 fans out there? What's your opinion on why they are considered a particularly outstanding band?

I like U2. I'm listening to their new single "One" right now. The one with Mary J. Blige. It's really good.

I have liked U2 since I first heard them. I am not familiar with everything, but I do like what I have heard on the radio. I bought 'How to dismantle an atomic bomb' CD & I like that.
Music is a very personal thing, if you like them, buy it & listen, if you don't, then don't. It is as simple as that!
Personally, I don't like hiphop, rap & country music. I don't worry about if you like them or not, & I personally don't care! I just don't buy their stuff & don't listen to stations that play that music. It is a personal choice! Just listen to stuff you like.

Obviously I know that I should buy stuff I like. My question was asked out of curiousity as to why people see genius in U2's music. It wasn't mean-spirited. It's just something I've always wanted to know.
I'm NOT asking you to care if I like U2 or not. Why even respond to my question if you're not going to answer it?
