Stand up for yourself.

Are you that person who feels unable to speak up and offer your opinion? Do you generally go along with what others have to say even if you feel you may have a different point of view.
Do you accept every assignment and requests from colleagues at work to take on tasks. Is it to hard to say a firm no to their requests or are you ready to be used by everyone.
We are taught to be agreeable, polite and accomodative. Many of us find it hard to be able to express our honest thoughts and feelings in an effective way.
Do you have a problem with standing up for yourself and knowing when to back down.

I've stood up for myself a few times. It's always possible to say "no" politely.

I usually accepts some light favors if it`ll not affect my own job but of course if I see that my working friends is abusive then I`ll make it the last time and talk to him or her personally on break time

@nangayo I prefer not just saying No but explaining to them that they are being abusive and only thinking of their own and not others

You should always learn to say No if you don't feel like saying yes to any request or offer. It is okay to be kind to someone just know not to be abused with your kindness. :)
