Hi, Although meditation music can help, I mostly use it when I work on my laptop. You may find it a bit strange what I do to remove my frustration: I do the washing-up! Yes, I know it sounds strange, but you have to try it and see the results. Of course, just be careful not to break any glasses or plates at first! Then, you will gradually relax, as you wash the dishes, cooking utensils, etc. I think this works because it’s such a simple process, and you don’t have to think, so you can clear up your brain. So, washing-up = clearing up the brain!

When I am frustrated I try to sort things out in my mind, trying to figure out the roots of the problem. If I'm still not able to get my head straight I go to sleep.Hoping that an angel comes up with a solution to my problem in my dreams....LOL....

I guess listening to meditation music would help some. However, when I want to get my mind off things that frustrate me, I somehow think that the solution that would help me best is turning my attention to other things, having other things occupy my mind. And somehow I have this idea that listening to meditation music that would 'clear my mind' would only make me think about those frustrating things more. Basically, what I'm trying to say is: I want to fill my mind with something else instead, in order to push out the frustrating thoughts. I'm afraid 'clearing my mind' would only lead to those frustrating thoughts having more opportunity to come to the forefront. So what I do instead is find things to watch. I mean, tv shows, movies... this makes me think of the story of that show or movie instead of my own frustrating problems. Of course, a downside is... if the show or movie ends up frustrating me as well. Though it feels a little better, or at least less depressing, to be frustrated about things that has little impact on my life.

if you are replacing your problem with something else it also good idea, but what i feel if you are replacing something else you are postpone your frustration , frustration will again come. what i feel you first clear your mind and make it peaceful so that you can think right way to destroy you frustration , i think replacing anything will be temporary solution , i think if you change your thought process then you will not get frustration very often , if your mind is peaceful everything will become peaceful in your life so there will not be any frustration anymore in your life ,

I turn on my classical music CDs and start working on teddy bears. I have found that getting involved in something that I have to totally focus on relives the frustration and I can go forward with my day.
