Had a Good Thanksgiving

I hope all of you here in the U.S. had a good Thanksgiving. My partner and I did. We spent the day at his family's house, and all went well. We got to play with his cousin's 9 and 7 year old sons, which was fun. The food was good and I wasn't even tempted to drink even though all the other adults were drinking alcohol. It helps knowing it doesn't mix with my medication. I enjoyed drinking my non-alcoholic sparkling cider. You really don't need alcohol to have a good time.
The only downside to the day was I got a migraine around dinner time. I had a feeling I would get one when I woke up earlier. I can always sense them. Even with my medication for it, it was unavoidable. I had to lay down for a bit once we got home this evening. It's gone now, thankfully.
Migraine aside, it was a good Thanksgiving. How did your day go?

Thank you. Yeah, they are pretty awful. I am glad it wasn't worse. At least I didn't get nauseous from it.

@Srbageldog nausea definitely doesn’t make it easier. At least it was just the migraine you had to deal with.

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving! =) Sorry about your migraine-I can sense mine coming on as well. My day went well yesterday, it was just our small family and we stayed home but it was good.

@Srbageldog Thank you! Yes it is very strange. I always just feel "off" that morning. I can't explain it either but I do know what your talking about.

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving with your family! Isn't it so weird how you can just wake up some days and know you'll have a migraine by the end of the day? I can't even fully explain the sensation, but you probably know exactly how it is since you sense them too.

It was an uneventful holiday which is good. Back to normal now.

Glad your holiday was uneventful. My family is having a second Thanksgiving tomorrow, so I have to make some side dishes for it tonight.

Poor thing, at least the rest of your day was good minus that migraine! They are the worst and I hate getting them when I'm at an outing.

Thank you. My entire life has been interfered with by migraines, unfortunately. I tend to get them when I go anywhere, which makes it hard to enjoy doing things. I was getting them on a near daily basis, but now I take low-dose muscle relaxers for them and I am not getting them as frequently, so I am grateful for that. I am sorry you also suffer from migraines, they truly are the worst.
