When?

Winter has come finally. Full sleeves, pullovers, jackets and blankets are out. My intake of hot tea and coffee has increased a lot in a single day. I feel winters come when we don't feel like getting up in the morning due to the chilly weather. How do you come to an interpretation that yes winters have come back keeping apart the month or season?

Definitely by it being under 50° which it has been most days the last 3 weeks. Altjough winter doesnt officially start til a month from now
