Lottery tickets and acquiring money

I work full time at a job that I have been at for 30 years.

I work, even if we both have reached the retirement age, we still do partial work to make a bit of money. Your vegetable turkey is great.

I have a full time job and I do side gigs for some extra cash.

I sometimes play the lottery too but of course the best plan is to have a savings account

I use to buy scratch cards whenever I have a chance. Won some and it was fun.

I occasionally buy lotto scratch cards and sometimes lucky to had won P20 or about half a dollar!

I don't ever buy a lottery ticket because I think it would be a waste of money. Rich people don't look happy to me. I believe that it is better to be happy with my life as it is. I have tried to travel cheaply and sometimes I manage that. Though as I get older prices seem to get more expensive. I have learned debt can make me feel very miserable. I had a mortgage for 6 to 7 years that I couldn't wait to get out of. I don't wait to use credit cards unless I pay off the money the next month. I like to have a savings account which I regularly look at to see its progress. I have built a beginners emergency fund and currently I am working on building more money for this. From 20th April to 31st January I am saving up for my front door.

Sometimes I think lottery tickets will just waste my money. There's greater chance of losing than winning. I will just trust my siblings income will make us wealthy

I just worked before and now I am retired.

I mostly worked at some job or other to earn money. I did win over $2,000 on Bingo once on a cruise ship so that was a nice bonus.

It's funny, I actually just purchased a scratch off ticket - I won my $1 back that I spent on it. Funny!

I once dreamt about winning the lottery and I was so sure it would happen! It hasn't yet... I think gambling to become rich is very difficult, unless you have a lot of money to gamble with! I play poker and slots but purely for fun. It's less pressure but very very fun!!

I do online jobs. Sometimes I buy a lottery ticket, but I have never been lucky.

I prefer multiple streams. Paychecks, royalties from books, affiliate marketing, sites like this, rental property, and interest off my investments. Having a lot of baskets helps to avoid the occasional rotten egg.
