It is Sunday , I was still asleep in my dreamland when the postman keeps honking at my gate. I was awoke by the consistent blaring of the honk that I looked at the clock and the calendar. "What the.... Sunday, 10.30am...." Yes, it is the postman at my gate, with a parcel in his hand, under the sun. Malaysia postmen are hardworking people in Malaysia. They worked on Sundays in my state but not on Fridays. ( Friday is prayer day for the Muslims, off day ). So, it is very convenient for those who are not working on Sunday to receive their parcels at home. What time does the postman drops the mail in your mailbox?

Here the postman does not work on Sundays. It is their weekly off. They come during the day time on weekdays only.

It depends which postman, the one who brings urgent letters drop the envelopes before 9 am, the one of normal mail around 10:30, the parcels it depends which arrangement you have with the post office. I asked to bring mine always around noon.

Postman delivers our mail towards 10 a.m. from Monday to Saturday. Never on Sundays. This on the French Riviera villages. But in the cities they are lucky to have their mail delivered twice a day, mornings and afternoons, but never on Sundays.
