I had a very bad leg cramps this morning. I thought I'm gonna die. It was so painful. I thought it will not subside but it's just for a moment and it goes away. It's still painful when I wake up. Maybe the temperature is really cool last night that's why I have leg cramps.

i had cramps too, this early morning. my muscles at the right leg were stiff, so i pulled my toes toward me,thus stretching my right leg muscles. leg cramps can be a manifestation of hypokalemia or low potassium level.

Get some bananas into your system! Or really anything that has potassium. I hate leg cramps, but I try to drink a lot of water and have bananas at least one a day and I don't get them that often anymore.

Bananas I see. Sometimes I don't like the variety of bananas we have at home the one with yellowish color of the flesh. I like the one with white color and is very sweet. I will try your advise

@averygirl72 Anything with potassium will help with cramps. I just know that bananas are the quickest way to get it haha

Grab your foot and pull it towards you when you experience leg cramp again. It will stop the pain.

@averygirl72 Don't move your legs, it's really painful to do that. The only way to alleviate the pain is to pull your foot wards you. The whole foot. We've been taught that since my very early age since my family is into sports and getting leg cramps is pretty common.

I think it's 2 months ago since I got leg cramps. The first night it's my left leg the next night it's my right leg. I forgot to wear pajamas last night. It's quite cold last night

@averygirl72 If you're cold that may not help with cramps.

The cold temperature does have an effect on having the leg cramps. Perhaps next time you shall have a carpet when you fall asleep. Besides, sometimes it is also a sign to show you that you are lacking of calcium. It is easy to deal with. Just need to take the calcium pills for some time and it should be better.

I take calcium supplement every night because I believe it's good for sleeping well. I guess it's the aircon and cool weather outside

I think it's because of the aircon. It's very painful I want to cry

Leg cramps are the worst when you wake up in the morning. Although it seldom happen to me, I wiggle my toes and do other mild movement with my legs while still in a prone position to circulate the blood flow in my still "asleep" legs. I never get out of bed abruptly.

Really your so lucky. It's very painful but it's only for a few minutes. I think it's the cold temperature to blame
