Our past may explain why we're suffering but we must not use it as an excuse to stay in bondage.
We have to learn how to let go of the things that hurts us. We cannot move forward if we keep looking back in the past. Past should be forgotten and present is what we should embrace. We cannot soar high if we keep those burdens inside. Let go of those negative feelings and start a new day full of hope and love. Create a new you. You are beautiful. Value yourself. Start to be happy. Happiness shouldn't be learned. Always remember, happiness starts within you.

Nice reminder. I think reading positive things and surrounding ourselves with positive people can help the moving forward process easier.

@sw8sincere I think we can also wtick with our negative friends and teach them to be positive. Show them how easy it is. Maybe the human spirit will win and the negative will become positive.
Do you know that I a small kid, I abused bugs, I chased cats...Now I care for animals, I can't think about abusing.

Yes i agree. We really have to choose our friends wisely and just stay close with the positive ones.

@stringer321 I think as kids the negativity is more like a mischievous kind rather than a mentally destructive kind. But in adults the negativity is different, I would say.

Very true my friend. We won't learn how to stay strong in facing problems if we haven't experienced it. Our past mistakes and past sorrows teaches us a lesson in life and every lesson shall be learned through experience.

I agree with that ...time can be a great healer and the past , however distressing it might have been becomes tolerable and even teach us some lessons when we look back on those incidents or experiences. What is stressful is to bear grudges and become revengeful remembering the past.
