Ocra planting-should I deadhead?

I started some ocra seedlings last week, and I might transfer them to the raised bed in two weeks. My concern is, I heard ocra can grow as tall as 2 metre. But I don't want tall trees. Can I pluck its shoot so the tree won't grow too tall? If I pluck the shoot tip, will it disturb the ocra's growth?

yep, they do grow quite tall, even taller than me, more than 5 feet just let them grow so they can sprout tons of ocra, keep them in a place where they can grow quite tall

That is the problem. I am also a lit~tle shy of 5 ft. So I think if the tree grow too tall, it will be harder for me to maintain it later.Looks like I have to just let it grow taller then. I thought deadheading might prolong the tree's life, is it not true?

lol So I should not pluck it and just let it grow naturally, then?
