Do you believe it? Now Tiffany & Co. has a 18K gold paper clip bookmark and it costs $1500 I don't know what they think. Perhaps they think today everybody is quite wealthy I don't know who can be so crazy to spend so much money to buy a paper clip

That is a lot for a paper clip. So it is gold but really what is so special about it?

I remember when this was first talked about. It is hilarious, most of the fact that people get so riled up over it. When they don't realize people who have a lot of money, they buy these things to have a statement piece. It is all about attention and conversation. That is why they buy weird art that doesn't make sense. In a way, that expensive yarn, paperclips, whatever else they have, are art pieces, and so the wealthy will get them. Everyone should know by now that Tiffany & Co. isn't for people who don't have a lot of money haha So why even bother getting all upset and crazy about it. It is just a statement piece.

@youless Yep, but hey, people just spend money and don't really care. Some people are fortunate about that.

I can't think why anyone who has that much money would spend it on a paperclip. *facepalm*

I guess it's just a gimmick. You wouldn't want to get it mixed up with a heap of other paper clips though would you?

Even if I have enough money, I won't spend it on just a paper clip, even if it's an 18k gold one.

Seriously $1500? That is absurd. I always lose paper clips. lol. And so even if I am a billionaire, I wouldn't consider buying a gold paper clip.
