Vegan Foods

I've recently had some health complications arise which have led me to need to try to reduce some of the inflammatory foods from my diet such as gluten and dairy.
Cheese is one of my favorite foods, so that's going to be quite a challenge.
Have any of you tried vegan cheese? Does it actually taste nice?
What are some of your favorite gluten or dairy free foods?

I have eaten a kind of vegan cheese made with tofu, and also some vegan sausages. Weird, but the sausages were not bad, I would not tell the same about the cheese.
Some good dishes gluten free :
Buckwheat crepes that you fill with other food (vegetables, rice, etc). Buckwheat crepes originate from Brittany.
Droo, it is a Tunisian dessert cream simply made with sorghum flour, water, sugar and orange flower water. There is often milk in the recipe, but it is optional, and can be replaced by water. I find sorghum flour in Arabic grocery shops here, it is 3 times less expensive than in organic shops where it can also be found.

I actually found some buckwheat tortillas on Pinterest that looked pretty good and they only had 3 ingredients, so they would be really easy to make. There were a few gluten-free loaves of bread also. I used to work in a bakery and the gluten-free bread they had there tasted like cardboard - it wasn't nice at all!

I know I should give up cheese, but it seems quite impossible. I don't buy vegan cheese, but I do try to buy low fat cheese when possible.
