Struggling with new photography software

Vince has been working on a new photo programme which allows you to create a photo which stands out from the page and looks a little like a 3D image. I’ve used an example for this discussion.
It has taken him ages to work it out and has involved a certain amount of bad language but it seems he has now got the hang of it although it still needs a bit more refinement.
The two riders are husband-and-wife endurance riders and on this day they were on their way to completing an 80-kilometre ride. Do you like the 3D effect?

@MALUSE All of those I think. The boots are expensive but last a long time whereas a good blacksmith is also expensive and an ongoing expense. Occasionally one of the rubber ones will come off and if you don't notice it missing then you either have to go back for it or buy anothe rat a later date. If you lose one and can't find it it usually puts you out of the ride unless someone can lend you one for the day. Iron shoes sometimes come off on a ride and not too many are able to shoe their own horses so that is another problem.

@sueznewz2 I can't decide if he is very determined or just stubborn! What do you think?

It's really only a little bit 3D but the process has potential.

It really does pop, and the picture is quite colorful.

Wow that is impressive. My son works in animation and does 3D work but it is beyond my ability

That is so awesome. I hope he uses it often enough to refine his skills and retain the knowledge. I usually learn new stuff then fail to use it and have to relearn it.

It is quite involved so it might take a while before he can do it without referring to the tutorial.

The 3D picture looks fantastic. Hope he will succeed in his mission. All the best to him.
