Some people do not give value to the works done by a house wife especially some husbands think think that being a house wife is very easy. They think their wives have hardly any work at home.
But I think a housewife also does the same amount of work at home. In fact she even sacrifices her sleep for her family. She wakes up at 5 am and starts her work, so that her husband and children don't get late to office and school. After they go also ,she doesn't take rest. She keeps on doing her work. After her children come from school she has to give them food, sit with them to help them in their studies, in between has to take care of her husband also. I feel being a housewife is really a tough job.Hats off to all the home makers.

Yes you are absolutely right. Being a housewife is really a difficult job.Her work starts from early morning 6am to 10 pm.She doesn't take rest for a second also.

Never been married and I don't have kids. Am pretty sure that housewives put on more hours of work compared to career women.

A house work does too much work and should be respected. When the husband is at work the house work takes care of the children very well. i have seen some women resigning from their work to become housewives in order to take care of their children.

it seemed way easier having a job. spend a few hours at work and then time off for anything. Kids? no break in sight, but I don't mind. :)
I got lucky. My husband knows what its like to be a single dad. So he understands and appreciates what i do. He also helps get kids up and to school and I usually only do it when hes got to be at work. It made a huge difference when nursing a baby that had special needs. he doesnt want baby out in cold if it can be avoided. :)
he helps cook and doesnt mind helping out at the home. he also doesnt like me cleaning on his days off. he wants me to relax too. but I have my routine and like keeping a house more tidy than a mess.

Being a Home maker is not a easy task. You have to be alert all the while. Although it might look a relaxed life, but the work doesn't end. It's high time they get their due.
